Operating Principle of the System
The tank is connected to a water supply source, with cold water filling the space of the tank and collectors. As the water heats up from the sun, it rises from the collector space directly into the tank due to natural circulation (thermosiphon principle).
At the top of the tank, there is a spiral heat exchanger, where domestic water is heated in a flow mode. Warm water from the collectors gathers at the top of the tank, ensuring the fastest heating of water in the heat exchanger for your needs.
The tank is protected by 50 mm thick insulation, and hydraulic safety valves are present in both circuits of the system.
System Components
The tank of the Altek ALBA system is made from high-quality SUS316L steel with an increased thickness of the inner wall (1.5 mm). The spiral heat exchanger body of the tank is also made of stainless steel and is replaceable, enhancing the overall serviceability of the system.
