Operating Principle of the System
The tank is connected to a water supply source, with cold water filling the tank and collector space. As it heats up from the sun, the water rises from the collector space directly into the tank due to natural circulation (thermosiphon principle).
At the top of the tank, there is a spiral heat exchanger where domestic water is heated in a flow mode. Warm water from the collectors gathers at the top of the tank, providing the fastest heating in the heat exchanger for your needs.
Tank protection consists of 50 mm thick insulation, and hydraulic protection includes safety valves in both circuits of the system.
System Components
The Altek ALBA system tank is made of high-quality SUS316L steel with an increased thickness of the inner wall (1.5 mm). The spiral heat exchanger housing of the tank is also made of stainless steel and is replaceable, enhancing the overall serviceability of the system.
