In SP-CL thermosiphon systems, water for hot water supply (HWS) is heated in a flow mode as it passes through a built-in spiral heat exchanger located inside the storage tank. The water from which heat is extracted is located directly in the storage tank and can be passively delivered to the consumer when needed, meaning it relies on gravitational forces. The pressure of the “passive” water depends on the height difference between the solar water heater and the water draw-off point, while the pressure of the water exiting the heat exchanger depends on the pressure of the water entering it from your cold water supply system. The vacuum tubes are made from high-quality, ultra-durable borosilicate glass, which protects them from hail and mechanical damage. The design of the vacuum tube resembles that of a glass flask in a thermos. This design helps minimize heat loss and provides high thermal resistance. Solar radiation absorption occurs thanks to the highly efficient absorptive capacity of a special multi-layer coating applied to the inner surface of the tube. The vacuum tubes are installed at the bottom of the water tank. When the water in the tubes is heated, its density decreases, causing the hot water to rise to the top of the tank, while the cold water from the tank descends into the vacuum tube. This ensures circulation and heat exchange of water in the tank. The outer layer of the solar water heater is made of high-quality low-carbon steel with titanium content. This provides high corrosion resistance and a long service life. Between the outer and inner layers of the tank is a modern eco-friendly material—polyurethane foam—which has the best thermal insulation characteristics. After installation and adjustment, the solar system will operate, providing the consumer with hot water that meets household requirements for hot water supply.
