Thermosiphon seasonal solar collector is one of the simplest and most affordable solar water heaters. They are known for their straightforward design and low cost. The main component of the solar collector consists of glass vacuum tubes, positioned at a specific angle and connected to a storage tank.
The circulation of the heat transfer fluid in the system occurs through natural convection: when the water in the collector tubes heats up, it becomes lighter and rises to the top of the tank, while the cold water descends to the bottom of the tubes accordingly.
