The Altek SD-T2-24 solar collector belongs to the seasonal use vacuum heliosystems. Water is heated in the vacuum tubes and rises to the tank through natural circulation. The system has a non-pressurized water supply, so it needs to be installed above the point of consumption. The storage tank is insulated and consists of two layers – the inner layer is made of stainless steel, while the outer layer is black metal, coated with powder paint. The tank is filled through a filling tank equipped with a float valve and an overflow pipe. The package includes a reinforced frame for system installation and all necessary mounting elements.
The thermosiphon system Altek SD-T2-24 is designed for use from spring to autumn. With the onset of cold weather, when there is a risk of water freezing, the water in the system must be drained, and the water supply to the system should be stopped.
