Operating Principle of the System
The tank is connected to a water supply source, with cold water filling the tank and collector space. As it heats up from the sun, the water rises from the collector space directly into the tank due to natural circulation (thermosiphon principle).
At the top of the tank, there is a spiral heat exchanger where domestic water is heated in a flow mode. Warm water from the collectors collects at the top of the tank, ensuring the fastest heating of water in the heat exchanger for your needs.
The tank is protected by 50 mm thick insulation, and hydraulic safety valves are present in both circuits of the system.
System Components
The tank of the Altek ALBA system is made of high-quality SUS316L steel with an increased thickness of the inner wall (1.5 mm). The spiral heat exchanger body of the tank is also made of stainless steel and is replaceable, which enhances the overall serviceability of the system.
The collectors of the ALBA system are perfectly suited for use in thermosiphon systems. The technical specifications are confirmed by the Solar Keymark certificate, and the quality and reliability are backed by a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.
