The Grundfos UPM3 Solar 15-105 130 circulation pump with a wet rotor, produced in France, has been specifically designed for use in solar power plants (circulation groups) of solar thermal systems. It is intended for surface installation and can operate in both vertical and horizontal positions. The application area of this circulation device is the pumping of heat transfer fluid with a high glycol content in the primary circuits of solar thermal systems, which provide autonomous hot water supply and heating in dual-circuit water heating complexes. It delivers a liquid pressure of up to 10.5 m with a total flow rate of up to 3.0 m3/h. The working temperature of the heat transfer fluid is +110°C, while the maximum should not exceed +130°C.
The device is characterized by high efficiency and economical energy use thanks to the incorporation of a motor with PWM control (pulse width modulation of current, profile C). At the same time, the motor can also operate in a constant curve mode, allowing for the selection of the most suitable method for adjusting the device’s operational parameters in each specific case. The supply package includes power cables and PWM control.
